Hi Betty--

Sorry for the delayed response! We appreciate you being a reader of Truth About Probiotics.com! We will be posting the article today about the brain-gut connection. Things always get crazy around here with the holidays. In reference to your comment, you were lucky that flagel (or any antibiotic for that matter) worked against your particular strain of C. diff-- antibiotics certainly don't always work. After such a high dose and strong antibiotic treatment, you should always follow up with a high quality probiotic, like Natren's Healthy Trinity to make sure your gut is repopulated with the good bacteria, which is also killed by antibiotics. Did you follow-up with a probiotic? Have you tried Natren's probiotics?

In Health,

Where is the article you said you'd publish on Dec 2 about the Brain-Gut connection? I'd be most interested to see it.

I had C-diff about 5 years ago. By the time they admitted me into the hospital, I was dying. They treated me with flagel - said it was the only thing that might work - and it did. This is one mean bug. I've told everyone I know NOT to take antibiotics for a root canal - especially clintamiacin
